EFCC has nabbed a fraudster in Uyo the capital of Akwaibom state. Justice Agatha Okeke of the Federal High Court, Uyo has convicted and sentenced a notorious international fraudster, Scales Olatunji, to 235years imprisonment for internet fraud and money laundering. Olatunji was arraigned on July 2, 2019 on 45-count charges bordering on identity theft, money laundering and conspiracy. He pleaded “not guilty” to the charges, thus setting the stage for his trial. Singer R. Kelly was sent to 30 years in prison in a Brooklyn federal court on Wednesday after being convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking in September 2021.  US District Judge Ann Donnelly sentenced Kelly after she and the court heard Complaints from the victims.
