Fire Outbreak And Easy Remedies

Introduction

There is various fire incidence that can happen around our working place and where we live, although fire hazards relate to the fire outbreak which can be minimal or very wild, some examples of fire outbreaks are chemical fire hazards, organic and other inorganic fire outbreaks.

A fire outbreak is arguably the highest incident that can be experienced, no fire outbreak can be underrated or easily overlooked because if neglected can even go miles away and cause regrettable discussions. Fire is deadly, but that doesn't mean there are no low fire incident and a higher level of the hazard, not all fire incidence causes big harm, some are manageable. "fire has levels, but pls don't let it reach the high stage".

There are three types of fire hazards which can be mentioned as:

A. Natural fire hazards

B. Anthropogenic fire hazards

C. Artificial fire incidence

Now, the natural fire hazards can be wildfires, the forest fire outbreaks that can destroy distant properties and this can be termed the biggest incidence that could happen, the outcome has a very high level of risk, even some organic fire occurrences are natural especially when no one manipulated it, could be a reaction or something else.

The anthropogenic fire hazards are man-made fire outbreaks that could come from the activities done in our workplace, and homes which can be caused by mistakes from people, a good example is electrical faults or another inorganic (chemical) mismanagement that will lead to fire outbreaks.

The artificial fire outbreak denotes those that aren't caused by nature but could be caused by man, animals, or machines.

The types of fire hazards can be classified into three main levels:

High

Medium

Low

Generally, putting these types of fire hazards with examples you can mention the following:

Gas explosion fire hazards

Solid and burning liquids like petroleum hazards.

Inorganic or chemical hazards like combustible metals, etc.

Other organic fire hazards like wood, coal, fats etc.

Material fire outbreak like paper, cloth, furniture etc.

Electrical appliances and wiring fire hazards

Remedies

When these fires happen, the fire step we should take is using the extinguishers to quench or reduce the damage and then call for help from professional fire response teams. Here are the  types of extinguishers

Hose Reels.

Dry powder extinguisher.

Foam extinguisher.

Multi-purpose chemicals.

Water spray.

Carbon dioxide extinguisher.

Fire blankets.

Wet chemicals, etc.

Avoidance Techniques

In order not to have a wild experience of what fire can do, it is therefore important to apply some caution and plan ahead of time, with the following points:

1. Always have a mustard point in your working place, and an evacuation path in your homes in case fire breaks. A mustard point is a safe place where people can be safe if there's an incident.

2. Make available extinguishers in your houses and on every floor in your working place.

3. Place your gas cylinders at the window side, or outside tour kitchen, do not play with the gas cylinder, and off the burner well before you leave.

4. Install smoke detectors in your offices, homes and business places.

5. Ensure to use the right personnel in your laboratories in handling chemicals to avoid incidence.

6. All electrical wiring must have fuse, and circuit breakers and be properly insulated.

7. Complete your fire safety risk assessment and determine the priorities in eliminating any hazards and reducing risk to people around, etc.

Summary

Fire Hazards and kinds of Fire Extinguisher used in compacting that Hazard.

1. Combustible Metals, such as Lithium, Magnesium, Sodium/Aluminum: Dry Powder Extinguisher.

2. Solid and Burning liquids such as Paint and petrol: Foam Extinguisher.

3. Electrical (Wiring, Appliances) Hazard: Carbon Dioxide Extinguisher.

4. Accumulation of Combustible materials such as wood, paper, etc:  Water Spray Extinguisher.

5. Improper Handling of Flammable Liquids: Carbon Dioxide Extinguisher.

6. Organic solid materials such as coal, cloth, etc: Hose Reel.

7. Flammable Liquids: Fire Buckets.

8. Cooking oils and fats such as lard, olive oil and butter: Wet Chemical Extinguisher.

9. Smothering of small pan fires and wrapping round person whose clothing is on fire:  Fire Blanket.

10. Improper Handling and storage of Combustible materials: Multi-Purpose Dry Chemical Extinguisher.
