Opec secretary died the same day He retired.

The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, Muhammad Barkindo, is dead.

The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mele Kyari, announced Barkindo’s death in a tweet posted to his verified Twitter handle, @MKKyari, in the early hours of Wednesday. “We lost our esteemed Dr Muhammad Sanusi Barkindo. He died at about 11 pm yesterday 5th July 2022. Certainly a great loss to his immediate family, the NNPC, our country Nigeria, the OPEC and the global energy community. Burial arrangements will be announced shortly,” Kyari tweeted.


Barkindo died late Tuesday.

Life in the Mirror

Someone lives in my mirror, I know this because, every night, at midnight, my room temperature drops, and I hear a squeaky sound, near my closet, where my mirror stands, and there he was. Three nights ago, as I recall, I was battling with insomnia, I lay helplessly on my bed, staring at the ceiling. I wandered far away from the reality of the world, into my imagination.
