The Phoenix

A mighty man in battle, loved by all, a source of happiness and a great teacher, a defender of the oppressed, and a great warrior of his own, Kingdom. He made a lot of friends, especially older women and children, those he fights for. No warrior could beat him, he was the man of the gods. He has delivered his counsellor of the village more than what the memory can count, his best friend is a husband to the only daughter of the counsellor, the possible heir to that position because the counsellor has no male child.

This great warrior was brutal with the enemies yet just in his ways, he never killed the innocent, little did he know he was making more enemies as the day goes by.

The day to give the final verdict of who the counsellor would make his successor is at hand, he fought and defeated many warriors, but alas sold by his best friend to the hands of a strange warrior, Ude the warlord. The night of this battle, he was offered a feast, without knowing his real enemy, he drank and merry with his death, his sorrow, his anguish, his weakness, his defeat.

He was poisoned by his best friend with a substance that takes 12 hours to paralyze and seize the joints of anybody that consumes it, a deadly venom was put in his food.

The only thing he remembers is his head hitting the ground and blacking out just in the middle of the last fight, he was winning, he was about to make it as the greatest warrior in existence. The plan worked perfectly well.

He stood up with difficulty, supported by the fat arms of two immense men. He had already lost control of his weak and withered body, his sweaty hair clung to the red skull. Even his skin had lost its natural shine and now exuded the smell of sweat and blood. He could not hear or see well, but he knew that his two great companions and himself were not the only ones there, this time they had a very broad audience. He would have liked to be able to open his right eye a little more to know exactly where they were since the left one was swelled up and completely shut.

When his clothes were taken away to continue the humiliation, the small audience erupted in screams, but he cared no longer. Even the contact of his bare feet with the hot sand made the least impression on him as if he had grown acclimatised. Maybe he was imagining everything, maybe it was all a hallucination caused by the fever that hunted him every night. The only thing that his pain-numbed body could feel was the lacerating cold of what he couldn't understand.

After having been used as a training bag for minutes, his opponent thought that he had not understood the message he wanted to convey, they hadn't been able to get a word out of his lips, only groans and moans. Maybe they thought he was a very strong man, hard to persuade. Little did they know he was dying. The venom kills after 16 hours, so he has 4 hours to live.

His best friend knew he would lose the positions counsellor ruled with his wife if this man won the last fight. This great warrior was the man of the people. He has the people's minds, so his best friefriend'se won't stand a chance to revolt against him, the king trusts him, and he saved his life when he was face to face with death.

Ude was handed a sharp axe to finish the job, he was about to hit when a sharp lightning struck his eyes, his strength failed him, it was as if the world stopped in a second. Ude recognized this great warrior.

Oh, what a moment, his mind drew back to years back when this great warrior met them in the forest and saved his pregnant wife and little child from a snake bite, he was passing by and met them almost to the point of death and applied herbs, he was helpless then because he didn't know the herbs to use and what to do, Ude immediately took his shield and armour, raised this great warrior on his shoulders and flew with his companions on horses to his home, where he invited the best of herbalists to help the great warrior. This stranger, Ude, is the leader of his kingdom army.

The herbalists found out he was poisoned and neutralized the poison with their best antidote.

He was given a second chance to live.

A few days later, he regains consciousness. He could see himself lying on the ground wi cabinets chiefs, and chief priests surrounding him, this strange warrior was holding his hands.

Tales that a mighty king from the gods who was stolen when he was only but 2 years old by strangers from far away land has been told, the only son of the king of seven strong, big united kingdom who died years back, when he was presented to the kingdom, a fight started among the kingdoms, the boy mysteriously got missing. But the prophecy was told that he will rise again to take his crown.

As a Phoenix, he has been reborn, raised from ashes, his disappearance at the time he was stolen led to the death of the queen by a heart attack, and the king refused to remarry until his death.

Portend has it that a certain mark of greatness is at his limp, his right foot has 4 toes just like his father, from the descendant of the kings, a unique feature from the gods. He was crowned King, the position of King of kings.

 The rebirth of the Phoenix.
